The previous post was produced automatically by the Twitter plugin (twitter tools) I added to this blog, I don’t think it makes much sense having my daily tweets appear as posts so I have turned that functionality off.

I think I have now completed the circle - my blog posts to twitter, twitter updates facebook and my tweets appear on the blog in the sidebar.  I am now pondering if rather than just my twitter status appearing in the sidebar should I have my twitter feed?

Does anyone know of a plugin that will post my del.icio.us bookmarks directly into Twitter, I know I can get them to go from del.icio.us to my blog and then from my blog to twitter.

I have had a great couple of days at the Apple RTC conference, today I made full use of the free wi-fi and twittered the top tips from Oscar Stringers imovie presentation.

Since getting home I have edited the twitter app on my Facebook page so that it updates my Facebook status when I post a tweet.

I all has gone well on my blog I have also added a plugin to tweet my blog postings straight to Twitter, we will see if it works after I publish this.

Following several negatives comments about Twitter on the NAACE forum I decided it would be worth revisited Twitter (twitter.com).

Over the last couple of days I have picked up some great tips via people I am following, for example

• Monolingual - MAC OS X application, this app removes all unnecessary languages from your Mac freeing up hard drive space, I gained 3G of space :)  Thanks Doug (twitter.com/dajbelshaw) for pointing this app out to me.

The problem I found with twitter was that I really only keep up to date with the people I follow, and they are generally people I know so I wouldn’t stumble upon other interesting tweets from people I don’t know.  Then I found Summize (summize.com/), Summize allows you to follow ‘keywords’ in tweets, for example with Apple’s WWDC later today I can follow all tweets that contain ‘.WWDC’ (summize.com/search?q=WWDC) this search has an RSS feed that you can then subscribe to.  To me this really adds value to twitter, it certainly answers a question posed by Trina last week about searching Twitter.
